Tally Ho
Delete your account
You can delete your Tally Ho account and the personal data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it.
If you still have the app
- Open Tally Ho and sign in.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm it is you, then confirm the deletion.
This takes effect immediately. Nothing is held in a recovery window.
If you have already uninstalled it
Email contact@boardops.org from the email address on the account, with the subject Tally Ho account deletion request. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use that same address.
Requests are actioned within 30 days. We will reply to confirm once the account is gone.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile — name, email address, and avatar
- Your statistics and personal game records
- Any feedback you sent from inside the app
- Any game you were hosting that was still in progress
What is kept, and why
Scores you recorded in finished games that other people also played in stay on those scorecards. A completed game is the whole table's record, not just yours — removing your scores would retroactively change other players' history, statistics, and in a close game, who the app says won.
Those scores are anonymized. Once your profile is deleted your name no longer appears anywhere; the other players see only an unnamed seat. Nothing that identifies you is retained.
